Strangely enough, the Bring Your Daughter... single made it to Number One in the U.K. charts and the song itself received abundant airplay throughout Britain at the time. The lyrical content of the song has triggered many remarks that I was able to hear first-hand when I mentioned that I was a Maiden fan. "How can you listen to a band that encourage the rape of women?" was the most common of these remarks and I have to admit that it was hard to understand why a song with such repulsive lyrics (if taken at face-value) could have become so popular. Seperti Holy Smoke, single ni dirilis sempena album No Prayer for the Dying (NPFTD). Not really the best album but it has its moments. Contohnya, lagu Bring Your Daughter ni. Lagu ni sebenarnya digubah oleh Bruce Dickinson untuk soundtrack filem Nightmare on Elm Street 5. Dikomen oleh fans sebagai lagu yang agak explicit sexually. Agak lari sikit dari biasa. Aku punya komen, IRON MAIDEN wrote on everything. Aku rasa ianya lebih tongue in cheek rather than serious theme. Ultimately, lagu ni antara yang paling menonjol dalam album NPFTD.

Oh ya ini single first time jadi #1 kat UK chart.

1. Bring Your Daughter... ...To The Slaughter (Dickinson) - Kat wikipedia tulis promo video ni cilok dari filem The City of The Dead. Nice. Kalau ada, probably aku sewa tengok. Anyway, this is a fine song. Part korus tu pastinya menarik masa live.

2. I'm A Mover (Fraser, Rodgers) - a brilliant blues song that was originally recorded by the London band Free on their 1968 album Tons Of Sobs. Bluesy. Terlampau slow untuk aku.

3. Communication Breakdown (Page, Jones, Bonham) - Lagu popular Led Zeppelin. IRON MAIDEN adalah antara beberapa banyak band yang dok cover lagu ni. Well, nak cakap apa. Atas IRON MAIDEN dah tentu Led Zeppelin so it's natural pusing-pusing mesti jatuh jugak kat Led Zappelin. This track is much heavier than the original. Menang distortion la.
