Single ni dirilis sempena album Metropolis Part 2. Dan lagu Through Here Eyes sendiri ialah track no 7 dalam album tersebut. Antara lagu ballad paling menusuk ke dalam kalbu. Muzik, gaya vokal dan flow muzik yang sangat-sangat best!Album Metropolis Part 2 ni adalah album pertama bersama Jordan Rudess yang dikatakan memberikan nafas baru kepada Dream Theater setelah mendapat kritikan hebat terhadap album sebelumnya, Falling Into Infinity yang dikatakan 'terlampau' komersil (gua beg to differ actually).
1. "Through Her Eyes (radio edit)" 4:34 - lagu yang dipendekken untuk airplay. Dibuang part yang muzik aje dan dikekalkan part vokal. Not bad at all walaupun kena cut.
2. "Through Her Eyes (alternate album mix)" 6:01 - tiada cut cuma mix yang berbeza. Juga dibezakan efek gitar Petrucci di beberapa tempat. Interesting mix walaupun yang di album tu lebih bagus. Now we know how studio work, works. Kena mix macam-macam stail. Lepas tu meeting dan pilih mana terbaik.

The live track were recorded on Friday, November 12, 1999, at Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium. The third track is exclusive to the Japanese release of the single and the second track is the alternate album mix which is also included in the Official Bootleg The Making of Scenes from a Memory. Both the Radio Edit of "Home" and the Alternate Album Mix of "Through Her Eyes" were included on the 2008 compilation, Dream Theater's Greatest Hit.Yang bold tu, track Home (radio edit) yang takde dalam rilisan ini (hanya dalam versi Japan). Nevertheless, kalau teringin nak dengar juga, boleh dapatkan Greatest Hits album tu sebab ada appear. Ikut kata orang, solo Petrucci dalam lagu Home (live) tu antara solo gitar dia yang terbaik sekali. Worth a listen!

Sebagai sebuah album single, kira puas le sebab total durasi untuk album ni dah macam album (40+ minit lebih). Tetapi sudah tentunya harga pasaran CD single ni pun lebih mahal dari album biasa disebabkan rarity. Untung gua dapat murah. eBay rules!
