*Saya angkat dua-dua belah tangan*
Lama dah beliau tak perform betul-betul sejak berkuburnya Badlands. Kalau peminat Ozzy majoriti prefer Randy Rhoads, saya katakan Jake E. Lee lebih menarik. Nanti ada peluang saya tulis sesuatu mengenai beliau.
Sekarang beliau muncul kembali sebagai gitaris undangan lagu "We Come Undone" oleh kumpulan otai Beggars & Thieves selepas lama sunyi sepi.
Gaya beliau masih macam dulu. Perhatikan loncatan manja beliau ketika menyolo *saya rasa macam nak tarik rambut sendiri - geram pasal cute hahaha*.
Former OZZY OSBOURNE/BADLANDS guitarist Jake E. Lee has contributed a guest guitar solo to the song "We Come Undone" from reunited rockers BEGGARS & THIEVES. Lee also appears in the video for the track, which can be seen below. Other guest musicians featured in the clip are Ron Keel (KEEL, STEELER), Blas Elias (SLAUGHTER) and Paul Shortino (ROUGH CUTT, QUIET RIOT).
"We Come Undone" comes off BEGGARS & THIEVES' latest album, "We Are The Brokenhearted", which came out on November 29 in North America and December 2 in Europe via Frontiers Records.
BEGGARS & THIEVES debuted on Atlantic Records in 1990 with its self-titled album, a record that was critically acclaimed, with the first single appearing in the Top 40 Billboard magazine rock chart and being added to rotation on over 100 Parallel One AOR radio stations.
The change of musical climate, and the advent of grunge, halted the band's rise to the stardom when their then-new label Epic Records decided not to release BEGGARS & THIEVES' second studio album, "Look What You Create", written and produced in collaboration with Jim Vallance (AEROSMITH, BRYAN ADAMS, SCORPIONS, HEART).
In the late '90s, BEGGARS & THIEVES finally independently released "Look What You Create" followed by "The Grey Album" in 1999, before going into hibernation until 2004 when the founding members — singer Louie Merlino and guitarist Ronnie Mancuso — started to play again with guitarist Brent Muscat (FASTER PUSSYCAT) and drummer Lez Warner (THE CULT), opening shows for TESLA, VINCE NEIL, RATT, SLAUGHTER and SKID ROW.
According to the All Music Guide, Lee helped Ozzy Osbourne score two of the most commercially successful releases of the singer's long and illustrious career — 1983's "Bark at the Moon" and 1986's "The Ultimate Sin". Lee eventually joined up with another former BLACK SABBATH singer (albeit briefly), Ray Gillen, and formed the LED ZEPPELIN/classic rock-esque outfit BADLANDS. Subsequently, Lee played briefly with a band called WICKED ALLIANCE before setting off on his own, issuing his solo debut, "A Fine Pink Mist", in August of 1996.
Jake E. Lee's "covers" album, "Retraced", was released in the U.S. in April 2005 via Shrapnel Records. All the songs were recorded in a "power trio" format ala BADLANDS and the tracks for the project were cover songs along that style (bluesy power rock). {SUMBER]
