Sup Darus

Sup Darus is a soup stall at the Taman Kanak-Kanak (or famously known as TKK) in Ipoh. It has been there since the dawn of time. Still taste the same.

The cook always has a smart appearance despite the warung environment. He always wear a collared shirt. Hair done nicely. And he always has the calm face even if he is pressured with lots of orders. He has only one helper to send the order away. I have never seen him looked distressed.

The soup is simple. One thing I like about it is that it has a balanced amount of spice. Not too spicy yet still has that illuminating taste (whatever that means). Try it if you happened to be around TKK. Open after 7pm.

Sup Darus goes International with this English post!

Didn't try this back then, but I've tried the other stall that serves the POPIAH and satay. Quite good also.

Beware when parking at the GERBANG MALAM road, late park or you'll surrounded with angry tokey gerai.
