In 1998 they released their first live album, Live On Two Legs that appeared started the live releases by Pearl Jam. Seven live albums after that (not included the bootlegs), they released Live On Ten Legs. I am not sure what is the relationship between the two and ten. What I know, is this is a pretty good live album. I am saying this not as a fan since I was never a fan. I know they are some sort the elite of the grunge movement but I never got their music. All those who had proposed their album for me to listen, failed to impress. Perhaps, the other way round is to listen to a best of or a live album. So I did the latter. No, I still don't get to pick what is their best 5 songs yet but the music here, delivered quite interestingly to my ears. Eddie Vedder's vocal is tired here but that is why the fan loved him. Though sounded lazy and relaxed, there are sparks of electric and energy behind it. The music is strongly supported by the powerful melody of the two guitarists and the lead guitar, whenever he sliced his notes, were so powerful you could listen to it again and again. This album essentially encompassed their whole history even though it was recorded during the band's 2003-2010 tour. For a fan, this is a must and exceptionally recommended for the noob.

I dont get it at first as well. But after some good weeds ages ago, the music started to grow in me. Now. I am one of their fan....sadly.
