Once in a while, there will be boy band emerging looking up for the success achieved by the elders (read NKOTB, Take That etc). I wonder they will succeed since the trend now is not like that. I mean, did you achieved something from youtube or reality show? No? Then, I don't think you are going to make it. But, no harm in trying. The problem with boy band is that we can almost certain know what kinds of music they will play. It's formulaic, totally. It is taking advantage of the elders' age at which they can no longer be known as 'boy' band anymore. Although they managed to climbed to no 4 in the UK chart, I still wonder if they can sustain this for the next album. But again, the targeted audience is always there, right? So by the time they aged, another one will take their place. Just forget it if you want to listen something new and refreshing OK?
