Review: RIHANNA Loud CD

The last review on Rihanna was not so well. But that was mainly because it was a remix album. Now that I got the full album, the 5th on her belt, I think I can be more objective. Remix, to me is not really an album. I wonder who actually listen to a remix album?

Just like Lady Gaga, Rihanna sings on a dance beat music. Not 100% but the majority of it. Since she is black, her songs tended to lean more on the blues & soul; which rarely can be achieved by white singer, Lady Gaga included. Because of this, I think this album is better than Lady Gaga's latest BUT, you have to understand - this is not a total dance album. So Lady Gaga's Born This Way still is the best dance album in the whole universe. Damn - do I know anything about this kind of music at all? I'm just blabbering!

Anyway, one of the track that I like the most is her duet with Eminem, Love The Way You Lie, Pt.2 which a sequel to the one appearing on Eminem's Recovery. Yes, Eminem returned her favour. This song is so good I think both of them should be in a duet act - like A-Ha or Modern Talking. The contrasting vocals of them have chemistry - one on the softer side while the other is on the punishing side.

Tunes to check out - California King Bed, Skin and What's My Name?
