Review: PROM Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

A quick check on imdb reveals that this is quite a bad film. I will never watch any movie below 5 rating unless it falls under the category of cult. Well, this film is definitely not the case. Surprisingly, the soundtrack is not too back. Other than Simple Plan, I have never heard any of the artists/bands that appear in this soundtrack. The hauntingly first song in the CD, I'll Be Yours performed by Those Dancing Days make me want to re-listen to it again. But again, I can't do that. There are plenty more to explore. Your Surrender by Neon Trees is not less interesting either, sounded like Duran Duran re-revisiting their 80s years. Travie McCoy make it fun and danceable with We'll Be Alright. Allstar Weekend makes me want to tap my foot though Time Stand by Moon is rather plain and boring. Now I can go on along all the 15 tracks in the CD but I guess, I will let you listeners to engross yourselves. Definitely one of those bad movie-good soundtrack case here.
