Review: JAMIE WOON Mirrorwriting

Jamie Woon has a Malaysian father, which makes us, Malaysian feel a little bit proud (as always). But maybe since he is located in the UK, nothing much is being said more about his work locally. Well, he did something good with this debut, reaching no 15 in the UK chart. Perhaps he should do more in penetrating the Malaysian market. Anway, he is a R&B singer, with electronica music as his background. All are clean. No distortion. No mindless thunder and lightning. He can be mistaken as a black singer. All the tones, the moods and atmosphere for black R&B produce are unmistakeably obvious. Urban ghetto music in the surface but may be too much inter-facial if you dig deeper. Nevertheless, the songs are good, his vocals are well composed, what else do you want?
