Contoh terbaik, tambah beliau ialah mengikut jejak langkah METALLICA yang mengupah produser mega, Bob Rock di dalam album "The Black Album". Tetapi Steve Harris begitu teguh dengan pendiriannya. They will not change for the sake of getting airplays. Steve, memang keras kepala. Terutama apabila membuat keputusan terhadap IRON MAIDEN.
