KERRY KING dan headbanging

Masa tengok SLAYER live tempohari aku peratikan Kerry King. Awal zaman Kerry King yang ku kenal masa tengok videotape Combat Tour; SLAYER, EXODUS dan VENOM. Masa tu Kerry King rambut panjang lagi... dah masih slim. Hensem boleh tahan.

Sekarang, badan naik, botak, bertattoo separuh badan.

Yang paling dok perati, dia kalau headbang, memang macam tiada esok bagimu. Sungguh-sungguh!

Apa itu headbanging? Ikut kata wikipedia "Headbanging is a type of dance which involves violently shaking the head in time with music, most commonly heavy metal music, even though similar dances have been performed along other types of music for a long time (to induce a state of trance). It is most visually effective when the person headbanging has long hair."

Banging ala ritual hahaha... Popular kat Penang kalau tak salah aku.

Anyway, berbalik pada Kerry King masa gig tu. Heandbang yang dahsyat. Furious! Oleh kerana rambut pun takde, maka kena la banging sungguh-sungguh. Kalau rambut panjang, banging perlahan pun tak apa. Efek rambut tu exaggerate banging. Tapi Mr King, banging macam nak tercabut kepala!

Aku try la jugak banging camtu. Dua lagu banging tengkuk dah sakit. Kena rehat kat tepi dewan. Lepas tu baru boleh masuk balik moshpit. Banging lagi. Tapi banging berhemah. Tak furious macam King. Mungkin cute hahaha...

Nah! Lepas show, tengkuk sakit sampai 3-4 hari.

Mr. King, headbangingmu memang hebat! Wa tabik sama lu!

Warning: Headbanging may cause serious injuries. In 2005, Terry Balsamo, Evanescence guitarist, received a stroke from headbanging.

Brain Damage
There has always been some speculation about whether or not headbanging causes brain damage. Most metalheads will wake up the following day with a headache showing there has been some trauma to the brain. Repeated headbanging in one week can hurt increasingly more, with each time one does it. Whiplash or violent shaking of the head can cause brain damage, and some headbanging can go extremely violent. The most common pain caused by headbanging, though, is an ache across the back of the neck. The headache and neckache is commonly know as headbangers hangover. Studies conclude that there is no evidence that headbanging causes brain damage.
